I am so grateful Paul understood the Message Christ demonstrated...the "Road to Damascus" experience wasn't just for Paul alone...He (the Lord Jesus) was thinking about all of us...Gleanings from Colossians 1:15-29...
" Do you realize Christ Jesus was already here before anything ever was...He simply always has been. Everything was created...through Him!
Now, here is something to think about. He, our Lord Jesus, not only made the things we can see, but He made the things we are not able to see...like the ranks and ranks of angels that surround us!
You see, Christ was already here and always had been before anything was ever created, and let me clue you in on another "little secret"...He holds it all together...all creation...right now!
Now, add this to the "Story of Life and Creation", and now we have this fresh revelation: Christ Jesus is the Head of the Church, and He considers us His Body! He is the True Leader of all there ever has been, including leading the way of being the First to resurrect from Death, and then bust open, and I mean wide open the "Doors of Death" and lead us on to the Gates of Eternal Life!
The Father Himself jumps for joy with this beautiful plan of redemption, and finds His joy made complete by having all of us part of His Kingdom...under the Banner of Christ, our Lord and our Savior! The Kingdom Christ brings us into is totally enjoyable and always plenty of room...room for more to enter and to come! Christ has made Peace possible...between us and heaven...because of His blood that flowed from the Cross...for all that simply call out His Name!
This means that each one of us, who were unable in our own selves to establish a peace and relationship God the Father, regardless how hard we try, how much effort we give, or how "goody two-shoes" we try to be. In other words, good intentions just don't cut it, our sin is too great, death holds too much power....that is until......
Our Beloved Christ came!...and shed His very own Blood...for all of us...and then suffered a horrible death...for all of us! Then, this is so good!! He arose, broke the stronghold of Death and the Father raised Him "out of there"...Alive! He is Alive!
And Christ's first priority, to bring us through with Him...right into the Presence of the Father, reestablishing us to an eternal relationship with the Father; Death himself unable to hold us back any longer. We are now made holy and acceptable, our sins are completely washed away...all because of His Blood, that was shed for us! We are now reunited with the Father, and are welcome into His Kingdom,,Christ being the passport embedded in our hearts!
So, continue to believe this truth, and protect, embrace, and keep firm to this truth and this truth only! Our salvation comes only by knowing Him, and receiving what He has done for all of us.
Don't alter the message! Don't let anyone distract or divert you on to any other path. This is the only path that leads to Eternal Life...it is Christ, and Christ alone...He is our Hope, our only Hope in Glory!
And for that, I am glad I am in prison right now because of the Gospel...and you don't have to be. There is suffering that comes along in this life...because of our call to follow Christ Jesus...but this is nothing Christ can't take on...and rise above! This present suffering is nothing less than a sheer gift, because it causes the Good News to be spread...just like it has to each of you!
Ok, here is what is really cool! This message, this whole plan Christ authored, has been kept in secret for centuries, many generations "in the dark" on what was going on and what was to come. And now? Now it's wide open, available for all to know! We are now happy and privileged to know what Christ's "gameplan" was all along. The Father Himself is excited for us to know this plan and all the riches and glory of His Beloved Son...and Gentiles are included! It is available for all!
Here then is the Mystery, the Secret of the Ages: It is: Christ in You! This is the Hope of Glory!
So, now we share with all the Great Mystery of our faith, warning and teaching everyone with God's own Wisdom supporting all we speak.
This Message is so profound, yet so full of common sense.
It is simply this: Christ!...no more...no less.
I have committed to this Message, and give myself daily to the proclamation of the Message, trusting God for His energy to empower me, working with all the strength within me, to bring forth the Good News!
