The first phrase comes from Luke 23: 34-35
Gleanings of Luke 23:34-35
"Jesus prayed: "Father, forgive them, they don't know how much they are hurting...You!"
Yet, they ignored Christ Jesus as He lifted up His love for them..and for us...to the Father. It was a prayer for each one of us...that would stand firm in the heavens and on the earth...until He returns!
Because of Christ Jesus and His prayer of protection over us, the Father took no action...in respect to His Dear Son.
And what happened?...Christ prayer was ignored...and still is today. Instead, they rolled dice for His clothes, thinking of themselves. Have you "rolled the dice", thinking about what life has in it for you (I know I have)?
Or maybe you have been like the others, simply taking life leisurely, waiting for all this "Christian stuff" to die out. That is what some did at the Cross, just watching Christ and waiting around to see when He might die.
After all, there are plenty of so-called "leaders" who will tell you Christ Jesus isn't all that. I mean, look at Him...He brought others back from death...but now, His power is all gone. He has finally been exposed for who He is...He can't even rescue Himself from the Roman cross.
People today seem to point out receiving Christ into your heart...tell me..what is that really going to do for you?
Does He really look like a Messiah to you?...Has the world really changed that much?....Aren't people still hurting?...Aren't people still doing terrible things? Come on, think about it...has the world benefited from this man who is supposed to be the very "Son of God?"
The Darkness nears.....
