There is a Difference...on How We Look at Life

This is a fact: we are all in some ways alike, whether you are a Christian or whether you are not. We eat, we sleep, and we play, it is just a part of life. We all experience some type of joys in life, and we all experience sorrows in life as well.
Yet, there is a difference...on how each of us deal with everyday life.

Saint Paul writes those that deny Christ Jesus as the Only One who can give us access to His Father, that being God Himself, have totally different methods on dealing with daily life opposed to those who have given themselves to Christ Jesus and acknowledge He is the only Way to the Father.
Those who choose not to be Christian often try and get through life on their own merit, their own strength, or their own willpower. Some have even accepted a belief that "man is basically good", and the focus should be to "tap in" or draw from the goodness within.
Saint Paul totally disagrees. His claim is first and foremost we must rely on our daily strength coming from Him, and to see this present life through to its entirety we must have a consistent reliance on Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul teaches each of us are in a fallen and sinful state, and need the Redeemer to come into our lives and transform us...to be like Him, and thereby we find our true selves...who God made us to be.
Saint Paul often writes his letters with "military-type" words...to emphasize the severity of the cost to follow Christ Jesus in our own individual and daily lives.
Here then is a Gleaning of 2 Corinthians 10:3-6:

"For though we live in the "here and now", the world itself lack principles. Although we are every bit human like everyone else living in the world today, we who are Christians deal with our everyday lives in a totally different manner than those who would deny Him.
We have been given gifts, weapons if you will, from the Holy Spirit, who has marked each gift with our own individual names according to the needs each one of us have. These weapons are not weapons of war as we commonly hear and see in the world around us. These are special God-weapons, and we are equipped with these God-weapons to do things like: knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments that deny the very fact He is Alive!
We use these weapons to smash warped philosophies and tear down barriers that prevent others from coming to the Risen One, the One who has Rightful Authority over all things. Even wild and rebellious emotions and impulses are "tied up" at the mention of His Great Name.
And, as we pattern our lives in a way that is obedient to His Word, we clear ground of all that promotes a different train of thought...thoughts that are in outright contradiction to what our Savior has proclaimed in the name of "Freedom for all those who call upon Him". Always remember, the "Rebellious Ones" will not go...unpunished....ever!"
